Geneviève Bianquis (1886-1972) : trajectoire de germaniste, fragment d’histoire d’une discipline

Abstract : The transcription of this round table discussion with Marie-Claire Hoock-Demarle, Pascale Gruson, Roland Krebs and Alexis Tautou sheds light on the different facets of the career, personality, work and the historical context within which Geneviève Bianquis, one of the major figures of French German Studies in the first half of the 20th century, was active. In the light of the extensive archives available, the discussion also revolves around the ways in which this female Germanist constitutes a relevant object of study for us today.
